Research: Audi Quattro

The Quattro is the car that took off for Audi in the rally world. The car was first introduced to the consumer market as the Quattro Coupe and the Quattro GT. Audi was the first company to take advantage of the World Rally Cross to allow four wheel drive systems. Before that they just thought it would be too heavy and complicated. The rally version of the car called the S1 took a win in the first rally it was in. It then took competetion after competition for two years. The original competition version produced 300 bhp.
